Abstract

The purpose of this final project is to find out the role of importing goods at PT. Segaramas Senaputera Semarang. Relevant documents, parties and intents involved in import activities and obstacles faced. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the import procedure applied by PT. Segaramas Senaputera the first is obtaining a power of attorney from the Importer, the parties involved are: Exporters, Importers, Banks, Customs and Excise, Deperindag, Shipping Companies. Documents filled by PT. Segaramas Senaputera includes: Notification of Goods Imports, Details of Calculation of Payment for Guaranteed Services in the Container Terminal Unit Division, Customs and Tax Customs Payment in the Context of Imports, Goods Flow Traffic Approval (PLAB), Road Cover Letter, Goods Release Notes. Documents from the port include: Notification of Goods Flow Traffic, List of Calculations While Loading and Unloading Services, Register While Leasing Stacks. Documents from Customs and Excise include: Goods Import Notification with attached documents. Constraints faced are technical problems that have been implemented by the EDI system in the PIB process, and limitations in the company's operational facilities. Suggestions that can be submitted by the author are companies can add a quality workforce. Because it always gets a solid order and must be implemented quickly.
