Abstract

Ship accidents are one of the problems that almost occur throughout the world that require serious handling considering the huge losses caused. If the problem of accidents at sea is not considered properly, it is feared that there will be an increase in the number of ship accidents from year to year. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence between the independent variables and the dependent variable. With a population of ship crew at the port of Lombok, a sample of 80 respondents was taken. With non-probability sampling type techniques purposive sampling, data collection using a questionnaire, data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis techniques include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. From the results of the study there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, hypothesis testing using the t test and the results of the regression equation Y = 3.388 - 0.148 X1, + 0.620 X2 + 0.174 X3 + μ indicate that the three independent variables are load control (X1), natural factors. (X2) and technical errors (X2) studied were proven to have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely ship accidents, with the natural factor variable (X2) having the highest effect on other variables in influencing traffic accident factors, hypothesis testing using the f test that The three independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on ship accident variables, on the coefficient of determination (R square) the value of adjust R square is 0.486, which means that 48.6% of the dependent variable variation ship accident factor can be explained by cargo control independent variables, natural factors. and technical errors. While the rest, namely 51.4%, was explained by reasons other than the variables studied. Keywords: Cargo Control, Natural Factors and Technical Errors, Ship Accidents
