Abstract

The State of Indonesia is one of the maritime countries where most of its territory is water and consists of islands. With the existence of sea transportation, the process of connecting access between islands becomes easier. Therefore, taking advantage of the Juwana port, entrepreneurs and fishermen make various ships for trading needs in the fisheries sector. The purpose of this research is to find out how the existing registration procedure at Juwana and provide knowledge to the people around the port, the majority of which are shipping entrepreneurs and fishermen. The method of observation used is literature study, observation and interviews. The result of this observation is that the ship registration procedure processes data and documents which are then processed by the Port Authority's Office of the Harbormaster to issue the ship's ownership certificate, the legal status of the ship, and the ship's identity.
