Abstract
The main discussion of this paper is about the flow of the loading/unloading process with the warehouse yard process by the terminal support area division at PT. IPC Container Terminal. There are some background problems that must be resolved in this paper Such as the process of loading/unloading by PT. IPC Container Terminal, documents used during the loading and unloading process, agents and obstacles in the loading and unloading process. The purpose of remembering this paper is to learn how to process loading/unloading carried out by PT. IPC Container Terminal and know the documents used for the batch process, related agencies and constraints in the loading/unloading process. Based on the data conducted by the author during land practice (PRADA), the writer uses primary and secondary data here. Primary data is obtained through direct interviews with the operational and admin. While secondary data obtained through books, archives and other sources. And here the author is placed in the Terminal Support Area division, which is a line 2 area division that contains reserve 1 line compilation YOR (Yard Occupancy Ratio) in high line, reaching 60 – 70%. So that there is no buildup in the field. The Terminal Support Area has 5 stacking fields but 1 field is being prepared 225X field which was once used as a field for Ro – Ro ship loads (vehicles) and 4 others namely 217X and 219X fields this is a special container stacking field in this field 221X and 223X is a field International special container buildup. After the writer observed and examined the 217X field, there were 2 problems, namely a 30% decrease in yield because the 217X field was in the process of repairing 1/3 of the field conditions and increasing the cancellation of stacking in this field every month.
