Abstract

Maintenance Accumulator (ACCU) to support the smooth operation genset at SPB.LAMPAN PT. MARITIM BARITO PERKASA Accumulator is saving electricity direct current which includes voltage secondary, they obtained for storage current other energy. The role of Accumulator itself is very important on the ship because Accumulator is a electro kimian tool made to deliver electrical energy to the engine starter system, ignition system, lights and other electrical components. This device stores electricity in the form of chemical energy it releases when necessary and supplies it to each electrical system or equipment that needs it. Courtesy : Abdullah Much Bandung,1972 A function of accumulator today more , especially as voltage source for this kind of equipment as start generator, the emergensi.Are a lot of equipment that uses accumulator , it will become more type accumulator available in market.A thing the most important thing for accumulator is a problem optimization use and maintenance where needs.So accumulator can live durable, and maintenance / care plays an important role, especially for device move, as a means of transportation using accumulator as a source of energy. With the proper care, it is expected that durability accumulator can survive over time. Keywords: Accumulator, maintenance, current storage
