Abstract
"OPTIMIZATION OF LUBRICATING OIL TREATMENT FOR SUPPLYING OPERATIONAL MACHINERY IN MT.GAMKONORA" Lubricating Oil is a liquid lubricanting from the process of mixing basic lubricating oil derived from petroleum (mineral), recycled base lubricating oil and other materials including synthetic additive added materials, which are used for certain lubrication purposes. The quality of lubricanting oil expressed in the parameter specifications for the work and specifications of chemical physics. Which has a liquid (mineral or synthetic), half solid (grease), solid (graphite, MoS2) . To reduce wear and tear, as a cooling medium, as a cleaning medium, and a sealing medium, as well as protective media. There are several factors that decrease the pressure of lubricating oil which can lead to decreased performance of the engine and can affect the lubrication system so that to smooth the voyage is necessary attention and care of lubricanting oil. And necessary prevention of oxidation and lubricating oil in the system therefore care and maintenance as well as regular checks are required for the smoothness of the voyage.
