Abstract

Shipping Safety is very important and occupies a central position in all aspects of the shipping world. Dedication to shipping safety tends to result in material, medical, environmental pollution and loss of life. However, Namin sees that ship accident cases are increasing from year to year and there are more and more souls, the safety of shipping needs extra attention. This study aims to determine the effect of Ship Manning, KSOP Supervision, and Port Clearance partially on the Study of Safety at the First Class of Ksop Tanjung Emas Semarang. The population in this study was taken from the employees of the KSOP Class I Tanjung Emas Semarang Office and the sample used in this study was 122 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with the type of sampling that is Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (statistical) software package for social science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results indicate that the variables of Ship Managing, KSOP Supervision, and Port Clearance have a partial effect on Shipping Safety Study at the KSOP Office Class I Tanjung Emas Semarang. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 4.778 + 0.253X1 + 0.189X2 + 0.235X3 + µ. From these equations, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting Shipping Safety is the Ship Manning variable with a regression coefficient of 0.535. R2 (R square) test results obtained are 0.535 or 53.5% which means that the Safety of Sailing is influenced by the variables of Ship Managing, KSOP Supervision, and Port Clearance that is equal to 53.5% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety that is equal to 46.5 %. Keywords: Ship Manning, KSOP Supervision, Port Clearance, and Shipping Safety
