Abstract
Indonesia is a maritime country which has a water area of 3.25 million km2 or around 63 percent of Indonesia and has a coastline of 95,181 km. The area of these waters, including the sea, has a potential for sustainable production of marine fish which is quite large, assuming around 6.51 million tons / year or 8.2% of the total potential of global marine fish production. port which is a node of sea transportation mode with the sea transportation system planning that needs to pay attention to aspects of ship service and loading and unloading speed. The formulation of the problem in this observation is taken based on the title of the observation regarding Risk Analysis and Discharge of vehicles on KM ships. Dharma Rucitra IX. This observation discusses the problem of how the process of loading and unloading vehicles, equipment used in the process of loading and unloading vehicles, and the obstacles faced in the process of loading and unloading vehicles. The objective to be achieved from the observations made by the author is to find out what risks and obstacles are often encountered in the process of loading and unloading vehicles on KM ships. Dharma Rucitra IX by PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang in the harbor of Tanjung Emas Semarang. The method of observation by the author to discuss this problem is a qualitative method. Observation Qualitative methods are observations that intend to understand the phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects holistically and by means of descriptions in the form of words and languages, in a special natural context and by utilizing various natural methods. The results of observations made in Semarang Port of Tanjung Emas on KM. Dharma Rucitra IX by PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang, the author concluded that the process of loading and unloading of vehicles was in accordance with applicable procedures.
