Abstract

A cooling machine (refrigerator) is a series of engines or aircraft capable of working to produce temperatures or cold temperatures (low temperatures). The principle of refrigeration that is widely used is the "Compression System". Compression can be produced by compressor power. Refrigerant (cooling media) in the compression system works on two phases, namely liquid and steam. The refrigrant is evaporated and then condensed, while the compression occurs in the vapor phase, so this system is called the "Vapor Compression System". To get the evaporation required gas (air) which reaches a certain temperature (heat). After the heat has been changed to lose heat, evaporation occurs. When there is evaporation, then arises the temperature in low temperatures (cold). Not achieving the optimal temperature in the food cooling system can be caused by the compressor jammed, leakage of pipes in the evaporator, lack of freon, lack of compressor oil, damaged thermostats, and improper expansion valve adjustments.
