Abstract

Lubricating oil is a liquid that is used as a lubricant in an engine to reduce wear due to friction, and as a coolant and silencer, but high temperatures on the engine will damage the luminance. If the luminous power decreases, then the friction will increase and then the heat will arise more and more so that the temperature continues to increase. The normal lubrication temperature is 45 ° C- 50 ° C and the temperature is not normal 50 ° C-70 ° C, rising oil temperature can be caused by a lack of heat absorption in the lubricating oil cooler and can also be caused by the volume of the cooling media entering to the lubricating oil cooler is not comparable to the cooled lubricating oil. From the results of observations, we can find out the cause of the rise in the temperature of the lubricating oil caused by co.cooler, pump, oil filter.
