Abstract
The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to find out the role of ship cargo expeditions (EMKL) in conducting garment import activities, as well as any factors that become supporters and inhibitors of the shipping process from warehouse shipper to consignee warehouse. The method used in writing this scientific paper is observation, interview and literatue study. In this study data collection on object is dine through observation, interview and literature studies to strengthen existing data, so that the results obtained that in handling import documents by PT Konesia Prologix Line Semarang Branch. In handling import documents, the receipt of Shipping Instruction, Invoice, Bill of Lading from PT Konesia Prologix Line Semarang Branch to the delivery of goods to the Importir until returning the container. The problem encountered by company showed that existing human resources (HR) and technology are not get applied optimally and it result there are still many mistkaes.
