Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about the procedure of clearance in and out of the ship using the inaportnet system. There are a number of background problems in this paper, namely procedures and implementation of clearance in and out and related agencies and system constraints in clearance in and out activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure of clearance in and out of the ship using the Inportnet system. And, the problem is at Batu Ampar Port. This research uses interview, observation and document study methods in licensing issuing agencies and shipping companies as service users. The Inaportnet system still requires additional applications and administrative issues that must be resolved so that it is expected that the commitment between the agencies related to shipping companies can be a way out of existing problems. The results obtained are: the role of the inaportnet system in the clearance in and out activities will run smoothly if the relevant agencies have staff who indeed master the field.
