Abstract
This paper is motivated by the progress and development of the shipping business today, shipping companies are required to be better and faster in handling the arrival and departure services of ships carrying consumer loads. In that effort, PT. Bahtera Setia enhances its business in shipping and provides the best possible handling of documents, so that the trust and satisfaction of consumers as service users will also be maximized. Therefore, companies especially PT. Bahtera Setia, which has received assignments from the cargo owner, will act as an operational division to serve the needs of the ship while at the port. In this case, PT. Bahtera Setia is a company engaged in the field of national shipping should be better in overcoming obstacles from internal and external problems, one of them is by maintaining good communication with related parties, always disciplined and thorough in the management of ship documents.
