Abstract
Transportation is one of the supporting facilities for a region to advance and develop. Transportation is really important in supporting the development and sustainability of the economy of a region. Many types of transportation services cause consumers to be selective in making decisions to choose highest quality products and suit with their needs. There are many factors that influence purchasing decisions in the field of transportation services including service quality, promotion and tariffs. This study aims to determine and analyze how much the quality of service, promotion and tariffs influence the purchasing decisions for PO. Puspa Jaya Yogyakarta-Lampung bus tickets. Samples of 100 respondents were PO. Puspa Jaya Yogyakarta-Lampung executive bus passengers. Based on multiple linear regression analysis results obtained Y = -0.325 + 0.267 X1 + 0.262 X2 + 0.284 X3 + µ. Partial test results of service quality, promotions and tariffs have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Evidenced by the results of the comparison of the value of tcount with ttable has a significant level of comparison of 5% (0.05) where the service quality variable tcount 5.471 > ttable 1.984 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, promotion variable tcount 3.298 > ttable 1.984 with a level significant 0.001 < 0.05, tariff variable tcount 3.173 > ttable 1.984 with a significant level of 0.002 < 0.05. Simultaneous results of service quality, promotion and tariff have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Evidenced by the results of the comparison of the value of fcount with ftable have a significant level of comparison of 5% (0.05), fcount 59.487>ftable 2.70 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05. R2 test results, service quality, promotion and tariff have a significant influence on purchasing decisions of 63.9% while the remaining 36.1% other causes outside the variable model which are not examined in this study.
