Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to find out about the completion of stuffing activities in the smooth loading of containers in the copper cape depot owned by PT. Meratus Line Surabaya and know the documents needed for the stuffing process and know how to handle stuffing documents owned by PT. Meratus Line Surabaya by EMKL PT. Mitra Dharma Laksana Surabaya Branch. Data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is done through direct interviews with parties related to the stuffing process, while secondary data is obtained from books, report notes, and archives obtained from the media. Data collection methods used are observation methods, documentation methods and interview methods. The results of the study concluded that PT. Mitra Dharma Laksana Surabaya Branch is an EMKL which has one of the tasks for the process of Stuffing goods from customs and domestic areas and the release of goods from the port environment until the goods arrive at the warehouse (cy). Therefore, PT. Mitra Dharma Laksana Surabaya Branch shows the professionalism of its performance to maintain trust for EMKL service users Keywords : Stuffing, EMKL, Container Yard
