Abstract

Paper prepared for find out about cruise ship agency services at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. Advances in technology in the field of communication and transportation have brought enormous benefits in relations between nations, especially in international trade and in shipping companies. One of the trade relations and in shipping is the opening of markets for countries that have commodities compared to other countries. To achieve the above objectives, the authors collect data through methods of observation, interviews, documentation, activities and agency services based on the condition that there is no country that is truly independent because one another needs and complement each other. Each country has different characteristics, both natural resources, climate, demographic geography, tourism, economic structure and social structure. The conclusion of this study in this respect Ben Line Agencies is a company engaged in international shipping and ship agency services, especially in this agency Ben Line Agencies, a foreign shipping company that will operate the ships to Indonesia, becomes an agent that acts as a representative handling ships - foreign ships or non-foreign vessels entering the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang Keyword : transportasion, Shipping agency service, Cruise Ship.
