Abstract
The main topic of discussion in the writing of this Paper is Regarding the process of clearance in and out of LPG / c Hellas Serenity V.19 / 05-01 by the agency company PT. Pertamina Trans Continental in the STS (ship to ship) area of Teluk Semangka Lampung. There are some background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely what documents are needed in the process of clearance in and out, parties involved in the process of clearance in and out, PNBP costs in the process of clearance in and out, and how is the clearance process in and out of LPG vessels / c. Hellas Serenity in the STS (ship to ship) area of Semangka Bay, Lampung. PT. Pertamina Trans Continental is one of the companies engaged in shipping and agency services to handle vessels owned or vessels chartered by PT. Pertamina. PT. Pertamina Trans Continental has the duty to assist the process of the ship's activities, one of which is being an agent for ships. In becoming a ship agent, PT. Pertamina Trans Continental has the duty to take care of all ship's needs from ships arriving until the ship departs to the next port. Based on land practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including methods of observation, interviews, and document analysis, the results are obtained that: The process of clearance in and out will run smoothly if the agent is careful in taking care of documents and timely in PNBP payment for port services.
