Abstract

Method of Rescuing Man Overboard With RTRGT Techniques (Reach, Throw, Row, Go, Tow) The sea is a place for people to earn a living, move and move goods through sea transportation (ships) in everyday life. Indonesia is a large maritime country, not infrequently the sea in Indonesia is still very high because of the knowledge about safety on the ship. Starting from the safety equipments on the ship, the attitude and action to be taken and the rescue techniques are things that should be a guide on life on board. BASARNAS / BNPP is an agency that deals with search and rescue issues. The agency has the authority to evacuate casualty victims on land and sea. Especially man overboard, BASARNAS / BNPP has a special technique that is RTRGT technique. These techniques are interrelated with others that help the rescuer to help the victim properly and safely.
