Abstract
PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch of Tanjung Emas in Semarang is one of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) which is engaged in the port terminal operator services. PT. Pelindo III branch Tanjung Emas in Semarang provide facilities for ships and goods services. In the dock is a place to dock the ship so that it can conduct the unloading process. Unloading of goods is the transfer of marine transportation modes to the land transport modes. Obstacles that most often occurs when loading such as a shortage of truck fleet, or rainy weather factors and unloading equipment failure. The purpose of this paper adds to knowledge of the procedures regarding the loading and unloading of soyabean meal and facilities used in ports for unloading from the ship to land, as well as to identify any obstacles complete the demolition. Thus, in the process of dismantling soyabean meal to note checking equipment and unloading facilities carefully so that when the unloading process does not happen constraints that hamper. To unload the ship soyabean meal from there steps that must be done. As the filling of PPKB to the PPSA and then after the ship docked Operations examination and after completion of all services performed soyabean meal unloading from a ship to a truck fleet. At the time of loading on ocean pier 01, using tools including ship cranes, grabs, hoppers, truck, whelloader, excavators and forklifts. In conducting the study, the authors use several specific methods to collect data systematically arranged according to the research objectives.
