Abstract

The Loading Process of Oil Products at Jetty Teluk Kabung, Padang on MT.Transko Arafura owned by PT.Pertamina Trans Kontinental In maritime countries like Indonesia, the role of shipping is very important for the socio-economic life. Because of that sea transportation facilities play an important role in facilitating the transportation of goods, services and natural resources such as petroleum. Petroleum as black gold, is a thick liquid, dark brown, or flammable green, which is in the upper layer from some areas of the earth's crust. The chemical components of petroleum are separated by distillation process, which is then processed into diesel, gasoline, wax, asphalt and others. The process of loading the oil product should be done as safety and as possible. The purpose of this study is to know The Loading Process of Oil Products at Jetty Teluk Kabung, Padang on MT.Transko Arafura owned by PT.Pertamina Trans Kontinental. Data collection method used field research that using interview and observation techniques, and also using library research. While the result of this study that The Loading Process of Oil Products at Jetty Teluk Kabung, Padang on MT.Transko Arafura owned by PT.Pertamina Trans Kontinental run smoothly, safely and in accordance with the procedure.
