Abstract
Ships are very important for transporting to the island or to one port to another port because in addition to being cheap it can also carry a lot of cargo so that it gets an economical cost. Sailing Approval ships need to be issued so that there is a guarantee for the Shahbandar to safety sailing up to the intended port, to issue a Sailing Approval (SPB), it is necessary to inspect the ship's feasibility in the form of administrative checks and physical conditions of the vessel by authorized officials according to the captain's statement when submitting an application for SPB Issuance at the Syahbandar office (KSOP). The author's paper discusses the role of martyrdom in the trade and safety of commercial vessels. Safety of commercial shipping is an integral part of the martyrdom role, the study of this article is a literature review or library research. The results of the study indicate that the role of martyrdom is very important in the commercial shipping safety system. Keywords: Cirebon KSOP, SPB Issuance, Shipbuilding Feasibility.
