Abstract

Anchor wacth sesuai aturan standard of training certification and watchkeeping (stcw) amandemen 2010 di MT. SAAMIS ADVENTURER milik PT. WARUNA NUSA SENTANA In the Chapter VIII of the Standard Of Training Certification And Watchkeeping (STCW) 1978 Amandement 2010 section A-VIII/I stated about the guidelines related to watchkeeping duties and the prevention fatigue with a rest period of at least 10 hours per 24 hours period. All shipping company around the world to the obligation to implement the regulation because its important to the seafarers health that could effect their fitness when they are doing they job. The purpose of this study is to know the guard service implementation when anchor wacth in MT. SAAMIS ADVENTURER are in accordance with the STCW Amandements 2010. Data retrieval this paper using research libraries and research field by the method of observation and interview methods. The results of this study is the official duty when the ship docked with the working time in accordance with a schedule made by chief officer but does not meet the rules of the STCW Amandements 2010.
