Abstract

The need for transportation with a large capacity Along with the development of an age where the level of human knowledge is increasing and growing, the level of human need for goods is greater. To meet the needs of these things, then the shape and the capacity of the ship was created and created more sophisticated and greater. In its development, the ship has different functions and uses, the ships can be grouped or divided into various types, among others: tankers, passenger ships, and cargo ships. Where each type of vessel has a different transportation system and way of working in the loading and unloading process and has a classification of different ships. There are several types of cargo ship: container, semi container, general cargo and bulk ship. And as an example to explain the type or type of ship mentioned above, the writer tries to explain a little or explain about the ship General Cargo.
