Abstract

In a process of berthing ships and boats anchored off the port sector in the international as well as the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang, which has required the waveguide region, we need a scouting infrastructure and adequate delay in order to assist the vessel in the process of working out the motion for a berth or anchored off the port sector in. In the process of scouting and the delay required optimal infrastructure among others include waveguides, tugs, mooring boats, etc. Tugs and mooring boat has an important role in the process of ship docked and anchored off the port sector in. Tugs are vessels that have great power compared to the other boats, so it can pull or push the boat into the dock or off the dock, while the boat is mooring vessels used to assist the process of tethering. There are several styles that can affect the ship in working out the motion, to be able to know the process move the ship properly, it must get to know the nature of a ship and how its movement during the motion process. The purpose of this paper to complete the scientific papers and information to help users shorten the time of election information in terms of optimizing the operation of tugboats and mooring boats in the process of berthing ships and boats off the dock. The method used to break the problem is using interview by asking some of the problems that existed during the activity scouting in the field and methods of documentation by documenting the time in the field and learn how to operate tugboats and mooring boats in the boat dock and boat off the dock in port.
