Abstract

This increasing bocome the goverment Attraction good at managing the potential to generate income in the country itself, this would lead to the appear of foreign nationals to vocation in Lagoi greatly increased regurarly from year to year. these conditions should be supporting with a goog facilities and infrastructure, especially in transportation. Most areas of Indonesia is the waters, because the geography as archipelago,that will supported the transportation using a ship. Transportation is a ship used as a support activity in the world of transportation. With this the cause of service and competition in the cruise. It was existence to increased quality of services as optimally as possible to the users of services shipping. In connection with the increasing number of foreign citizens who come to the habor area of Bandar Bentan Telani, the shipping company opens new agent at any port in operation to handle vessels of non-owned or belonging. In this case the agent PT. BINTAN MULIA act as the agent who takes care of the arrival and departure of ships (in clearance and clearance out) boats in the harbor, take care of the needs of the ship while in port and calculate the percentage of arrivals passangger and goods during the harbor. Given the agency services has a very large role in shipping activities, the authors are interested to know the activities of Arrival and Departure Procedures Ships in the port of Bandar Bentan Telani, Lagoi - Riau Islands.
