Abstract
The Handling of Dangerous Cargo According to IMDG – Code by PT. Wahanamitra Jasasamudera in Container Depot Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang The development of marine transportation grown so rapidly stowage to the times. However, in the implementation of the cargo handling and for dangerous cargo in the container facing many obstacles, Such a lack of knowledge which lead to lack of profesional stowage of the cargo. So, the conclusion of this research is the lack of maintance of the loading facility as well which can threaten damage to cargo and human safety. The process of loading will be hampered and incomplete documents that could cause the loading and discharge process. The wheater factor and the day-care goods that caused of damage to dangerous goods . Keywords : The handling of dangerous cargo, Container, IMDG – Code.
