Process of Loading and Unloading of Crude Oil Screen Arthawibawa PT. Bumi Laut Group Tankers are used by the oil industry to transport large amounts of liquid. A common problem with tankers carrying crude or ready-to-use oils is the discovery of nonconformities in the COTs fulfillment requirement (Cargo Oil Tank) to be dried and free from toxic gas, tank washing or tanking of clean and free gas to be expressed in the Certificate Dry and Encloced Space Permit. The purpose of this paper is to find a solution to a less than optimal problem in cleaning the tank before loading. The method used in this paper is using field studies that include direct study or observation and interviews and using literature study methods. The conclusion of this paper is the lack of implementation of tank preparation that has been done on board. The result of this paper is the tank preparation process in accordance with the procedures in International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals (ISGOTT).
