Abstract
ANALYSIS DAMAGE THAT HAPPENED TO THE HC634G SERIES STAMFORD GENERATOR IN PT. YASA WAHANA TIRTA SAMUDERA SEMARANG Generator is a machine that can change the energy of motion (mechanical) into electrical energy (electric). The energy that drives the generator itself varies. Whereas the motion electricity generator from the generator is obtained from the combustion process of diesel fuel. In this research, it can be identified as a focus of problems in cases one by one which is very closely related to one another. so that the formulation of problems or operating problems in the generator can be taken which often results in damage to the AVR generator. Besides the AVR component, the contactor is also an important component. Contactors are electrical components that function to connect or disconnect AC power. Care for both components is very important to avoid damage. The results of periodic maintenance at the PT. YASA WAHANA TIRTA SAMUDERA shipyard shows that by periodic maintenance it can handle damage to AVR and contactors so as to facilitate the operation of the PT. YASA WAHANA TIRTA SAMUDERA shipyard. The results of writing this paper are knowing how to carry out maintenance, repair damage, and replace components on AVR generators and MCB contactors on generators.
