Abstract

Traffic Accidents is one of the most prevalent problems in the world that require serious handling considering the losses it causes, if the road accident problem is not properly noticed, it is feared that there will be an increase in traffic accident number from year to year, the purpose of this research is analyze the influence between independent variable to dependent variable. With the population of all users of Jalan Pati-Tayu Pati, Pati District and taken as many as 100 respondents. With non-probability sampling technique of incidental sampling, data collection using questionnaires, data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis techniques including validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis obtained the regression equation as follows: Y = 0.373 + 0.192 X1 + 0.186 X2 + 0,507 X3 + μ, correlation coefficient in this study amounted to 0.788 where the value terhdapat relationship between independent variables with dependent variable is equal to 78.8%. Hypothesis testing using t-test showed that the three independent variables, namely vechile condition (X1), road condition (X2), environment condition (X3), were proved to have positive and significant effect on dependent variable ie traffic accident factor, on the coefficient of determination test (R Square) Adjust R square value of 0.609 means 60.9% variation of variable bound factor Traffic accidents can be explained by independent variables of rider behavior, vehicle condition, and road conditions. While the remaining 39.1% is explained by the causes other than the variables studied. Keywords: Vehicle Condition, Road Condition, Environment Condition, Traffic Accident Factor
