Abstract
Emergency is another state of normal circumstance that has a tendency of potential level of harm to both human safety, property and environment. Many things that cause such as Collision, fire explosion, kandas, leaks/sinks people fall into the sea, pollution. Emergency condition on ships may be detrimentai to the skipper and crew and shipowner as well as to the merine detrimental environment and may even cause discription of the seabed ecosytem. So it is necessary to understand the emergency condition as best as possible in order to have the basic ability to identify emergency signs so that the situation can be overcome by the skipper and crew and cooperation will the parties concerned. Same of the effect of emergencies includedamage to ship, human casualties, oil spills to the sea (tankers), pollution and fire, in the sea have long term effects (sublethal) such as change in the characteristics of marine spesial populations or ecological structures of marine comunities, this can certainly affect coastal communities who rely more on on fisheries and cultivation. The pupose of this research is to know how emergency handling procedure on board. Methods of data collection obtained from field research and library research and interviews. The problem solving is knowing the duties and responsibilities listen emergency services, emergency training, and skill in taking action. Keywords :Procedure, Emergency state ship KM.
