Abstract
PT. DHARMA LAUTAN UTAMA Semarang is one of the shipping companies which operate ships from between ports, this shipping company also handling the document related owned ships. It involves all activities starting from the arrival of the ship, in port and before departure. The purpose of this study is to know about clearance in and clearance out documents handling by PT. DHARMA LAUTAN Branch of Semarang. The collecting method used was interview, observation, documentation and literature study methods. The result of this study is that PT. DHARMA LAUTAN UTAMA has conducted systems and prosedures for clearance in and clearance out also making the reports of it. Keywords: Handling, Arrival, Departure, Ship Documents.
