Abstract

The main discussion in the writing of this paper is about the service clearance in and clearance out mv. Kartini Baruna Voy. 01 by an agency company PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna Cabang Merak Banten at jetty suralaya. There are several background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely how the process of managing documents on the ship, and the obstacles faced by PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna. This company is engaged in agency services. Agency service activities are conducting the clerance in and out of the ship's clerance process. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the process of managing document services on the ship, to describe the obstacles that occur in the process of minimizing the waiting time on the agency and loading and unloading the bulk ship. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive qualitative research is research carried out by capturing and linking data obtained in the field with the theory used. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. The data that has been collected is then carried out data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study aim to minimize the waiting time for ship agencies in PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna, Cabang Merak Banten. Keywords : Agency and Productivity Unloading, Waiting Time.
