Abstract
The main topic of discussion in the writing of this paper is about the loading and unloading of containers with the Electronic Terminal Operation System at PT. Prima Nur Panurjwan which is one of the loading and unloading companies of PT. Samudera Indonesia Group. There are several background problems that the author must solve, namely the role of the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading process, the superiority of the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading activities, and the constraints of using the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading process. The writing of this paper has the objective to find out the role of the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading process, to know the advantages of the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading process, to know the obstacles of using the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the loading and unloading process. Based on data collection conducted during land practice (prada), the author uses several methods, namely, observation, interviews and document analysis. The result of this paper is the use of the Electronic Terminal Operation System in the process of loading and unloading containers at PT. Prima Nur Panurjwan can greatly assist operational performance and also improve service time efficiency if it can be applied properly.
