Abstract

Ship agency handling activities are assisted by the inaportnet system aimed at providing smoothness and facilitating the process of exchanging information and data to related parties who will carry out the agency's activities of the ship. For the general public, this seems simple because from the outside there are still many ports that do not use inaportnet but the manual method so there is a need for education about the system that will be applied in all ports in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to explain the handling of ship agencies at PT. Pertamina Trans Continental Jakarta in Tanjung Priok. In collecting data the author uses descriptive observations. Descriptive observations are studies intended to gather information about the status of existing symptoms, namely the state of symptoms according to what they were when the study was conducted. In practice the writer uses three question methods, observation method, library method, and documentation method From the observations the authors concluded that the handling of ship agencies at PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinetal Tanjung Priok is divided into several parts, namely the ship agency process flow using the inaportnet system, checking vessel documents applying for licensing, problems / obstacles that occur in the inaportnet system, and efforts made by PT.
