Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT DRILL BY CREWS AND PASSENGERS ON BOARD KMP. ROYAL NUSANTARA OWNED BY PT PRIMA EKSEKUTIF A vessel meant to be a very safe place to be at sea, that is why seaferers need to stay on board whichever the emergency situation. Emergency means a situation whre there is a human error, thecnical error or nature, at their situation all crews and passangers should aware of the safety equipment, how to use it. Knowledge on using safety equipment and how to safe ourself is a must for all crews. So, when there is an emergency they are not only saving theirself but also saving the other passangers. The crews also have to explain about how to react when there is fire and how to use lifeboat to the passangers, life boat is a rescue boat to save humans when there is an emergency on board. The purpuse of this study is to know how to the implementation of safey equipmentdrill by crews and passangers on board KMP.ROYAL NUSANTARA owned by PT.PRIMA EKSEKUTIF. The data collecting metheod were library research and field research used obsevation and interview techniques. The result of the this study the implementation of safey equipmentdrill by crews and passangers on board KMP.ROYAL NUSANTARA owned by PT.PRIMA EKSEKUTIF. Implemented by crews and passangers on every voyage. Key words : Safety Equipment, Ship Crew, Life Boat
