Abstract

Unloading Process of Ship MV. KANWAY GALAXY By PT. Jaya Lancar Cargo Implementation of development in Indonesia whose main target in the field of economic development, then the trade activity is one sector of economic development always in growing its role. To facilitate the flow of goods and services in order to support such trade activities, there is sufficient means of pengankutan, one of which is by sea. Like the example of PT. Jaya Lancar Cargo which is engaged in the expedition of cargo ship ship capable of improving the process of loading and unloading the ship quickly. With the service in loading and unloading this can reduce the hours during loading and unloading so that the impact on the work to be completed on time. Research methods are taken based on the types and sources of data taken. As well as data collection methods, some of the methods are observation, interview, literature study, documentation, survey, and document analysis. The results of this study is expected to be useful for researchers, communities, and universities. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the TPKS in carrying out loading and unloading of goods in the port is as the party who performs the movement of freight in loading and unloading goods basically includes administrative protection and physical protection.
