Abstract
Tanjung Emas Semarang was verry heavy in performing their duties in terms of the flag the ship, because of the port is a government official in the port to be apointed by the minister of transportation and has the authority is the highest to run and conduct oversight of proovisions rules the invitation to ensure decent the ship before the changes in the flag the ship. Decent of the ship is a condition where the boats that meet the requirements of the material, construction, buildings, machinery, and electricity, stability,structure and radio , navigation equipments, as evidenced by a certificate after the examination and testing In the flag the ship, the ships should be stated the feasibility of the sea, and it has met the requirements of the necessary documents. Change the flag ship can be done when the ship happened to the change of ownership of the ship, and in accordance with the law. The flag is identity of who should have every ship will sail. Without the flag, a ship was considered to be illegal and it could be snared the international law, moreover we sail in other countries. The research that is used by the writer in the observation is by using various methods of observation is done directly, the method of documentary like a photo and also data points in a related methods of the interview is ask you directly and method of study. The autor hopes that reader can understand more about the story change the flag ship in order to facilitate in the process of service changes flag the ship so it can be done quickly and efficiently.
