Abstract
As we know that Indonesia consists of seas which are rich in islands and internationally recognized, so Indonesia has sovereignty over the whole territory of the Indonesian Sea, especially the Java Sea. The government is obliged to carry out governance in the field of law enforcement both against threats of violations of water use and to safeguard and create cruise safety and security as well as Sailing safety facilities such as Navigation Navigation Assistance Facilities (SBNP), and Bouy which are used to mark safe shipping lanes during flow shipping in and out of the port. This paper aims to provide readers with insight into the importance of Navigation Assistance Facilities and the types of Bouy used in the Java Sea by the Class II Navigation District of Semarang. The data collection method used in writing this paper is the Observation and Documentation method. The results of this paper are the types and functions of Sailing Navigation Assistance Facilities and About the IALA Maritime Bouyage System. Keyword : Navigation, SBNP, Safety, Sea
