Abstract

PT. Nusantara Panurjwan Shipping Company Branch Semarang is a shipping company engaged in the field of cargo / container ship agency. PT. Nusantara Panurjwan Shipping Company Branch Sremarang has the duty to provide ship and cargo services, the operational process of the ship service system starting from the ship docked, the process of loading and unloading activities from the ship and until the ship leaves the port. This method uses interview, observation, document study and library data collection services and uses data sources namely primary and secondary data so that the research results refer to the theory and research in the field. The results of research at PT. Nusantara Panurjwan Shipping Company Semarang Branch, which is analyzing the process of ship service when the ship arrives at the port then conducts a clearance in which is submitted to Syahbandar and Pelindo for the determination of the ship berth and services from Pelindo. The last service is clearance in and clearance out submitted to Syahbandar for ship departure. Vessel services in the form of handling documents, handling costs when the ship is at the port and the obstacles that occur include the leaning process is not on time, lack of coordination in the leaning process.
