Abstract

SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF FRESH WATER GENERATOR ON MV. OCEAN PHOENIX PT. INDOMARITIME Fresh Water Generator is equipment on board that using to production fresh water by evaporating seawater in the evaporator and the vapor cooled by condensation in the condenser, which are called distillation. Fresh Water Generator is one of important machinery on board, because fresh water on board can be used for drinking, cooking, washing and also for cooling even running the other important machines. So, treatments and repair for fresh water generator on board is very important, in order that fresh water generator be able to always production fresh water and sufficient for daily need on board and also reduce cost from the company.
