Abstract
Maintenance and Repair Fuel Filter Main Engine in KN. Kumba Shipbuilding engines have diverse types of diesel engines, steam engines piston, but the most widely used is the driving force of the type of diesel engine. One of the components that support the performance of diesel engines is fuel filters on the fuel system. Fuel filter is very important role to the smoothness of diesel engines for it needs to be treated on fuel filters. The purpose of writing is to know how to care and repair fuel filter main engine of the ship. The method used is by direct observation to the ship at the time of practice. With the routine maintenance of fuel filters, the combustion process in the combustion chamber will be smooth and there is no corrosion in the combustion chamber due to the mixing of water into the fuel.
