Abstract
Maintenance And Repair On Cylinder Head To Maintain The Performance Of Main Engineon KN. KUMBA Arranged by : Van Leofri NRP. 1553.20.108 Van leofri, 2018, Cylinder head is one of the main components of the engine mounted on a cylinder block and fastened by a bolt. The cylinder head must be retained against the temperature and pressed high during the engine, so the cylinder head is made of cast iron. The cylinder head works for deep combustion, the cylinder head component is very important because it is located in the main block separating the combustion chamber. The cylinder head acts as a valve working place in the intake and exhaust process, and as a place to attach the injector. The cylinder head can be cracked because of several factors that affect the function of the cylinder head. One of the factors causing the crack in the cylinder head is due to the fouling and cooling that work is not perfect. Another factor is also due to the age or fatigue of the material on the cylinder head. Keywords: Cylinder head, Temperature, Main component
