Abstract
PREPARATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AUXILARY BOILER in KMP.MUTIARA TIMUR 1 ATOSIM LAMPUNG PELAYARAN COPANY IN JAKARTA The boiler is an apparatus, used to produce steam steam that will be used for purposes while on board such as heating fuel, passenger hot baths and others. In order to maintain the performance and life of the boiler boiler, it is necessary to take care and how to overcome the problems that often occur on the boiler so that the boiler can work well and normally. After a periodic maintenance, it will detect anything that results from maintenance, the cause of damage, and the solution of the boiler damage. From these results are expected to similar damage does not occur again because it has found a solution.
