Abstract
Unusual Analysis of Purification Process in Lubricating Oil Purifier in PT. Janata Marina Indah Semarang Lubricating Oil Purifier on board is one of the auxiliary machine owning role of vital importance to separate lubricating oil of dirt solid and water. This research was conducted on KMP Sabuk Nusantara ship during cadet prada at PT.Janata Marina Indah Docking and RepairingUsefulness of lubricating oil which have cleaning this is to support operation of main engine in lubricating the parts of peripatetic. Obtained result of this research indicate that abnormality process of purification is resulted from inappropriate of disc gravity among specific gravity and influence of viscosity, and temperature to product of lubricating oil. Threadbare of seal ring have happened at machine and jam of closing of pilot of valve can affect ugly to performance of purifier. This is indicated by overflow of lubricating oil by sludge port of Purifier and storage in sludge tank. Keywords : Purifier, Separator, specific gravity.
