Abstract
Passenger terminal effectiveness is one of the important factors in supporting the smooth operation of sea transportation services at ports. This study was conducted to determine the effect of human resource quality (X1), port facilities (X2), and service procedures (X3) on passenger terminal effectiveness (Y) at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III Tenau Kupang. The population in this study consisted of passenger terminal service users with a total sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with incidental sampling type. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 30. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, the regression equation obtained was: Y = 0,328 + 0,171 X 1 + 0,202 X 2 + 0,569 X 3 + µ From the equation, it is known that the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.616 indicates that 61.6% of the variation in Passenger Terminal Effectiveness is explained by Human Resource Quality, Port Facilities, and Service Procedures, while 38.4% is explained by other factors outside this study. The t-test results show that Port Facilities (X2) and Service Procedures (X3) have a positive and significant effect on Passenger Terminal Effectiveness (Y), while Human Resource Quality (X1) has a positive but insignificant effect. Service Procedures (X3) is the most dominant variable with a regression coefficient of 0.569. It can be concluded that Port Facilities and Service Procedures influence Passenger Terminal Effectiveness, with Service Procedures providing the greatest contribution.
