Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Pilotage Services, Cargo Handling Productivity, and Berth Availability on Ship Waiting Time at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The primary issue underlying this research is the importance of port operational efficiency in facing increased ship traffic to minimize berthing delays. The research method employed is a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to respondents with specific criteria (such as a minimum education of ANT-III and over 2 years of work experience) using a non-probability sampling technique. Data analysis in this study includes classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS software. The research results indicate that: (1) Pilotage Services have a negative and significant effect on ship waiting time with a t_{count} value of (-3.117) > t_{table} (1.66216); (2) Cargo Handling Productivity has a negative and significant effect with a t_{count} value of (-3.561) > t_{table} (1.66216); and (3) Berth Availability has a negative and significant effect with a t_{count} value of (-2.296) > t_{table} (1.66216). Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 56.5% to the variation in Ship Waiting Time, as indicated by the coefficient of determination (R^2) value of 0.565. The resulting regression equation is Y = 1.034 - 0.284X_1 - 0.394X_2 - 0.213X_3, confirming that improvements in these factors will effectively reduce ship waiting time at the port.
