Abstract

PLTU is a generator that relies on kinetic energy from steam to generate electricity. Due to the connection with coal which is the main raw material for PLTU Tanjung Jati B Jepara, a large supply of coal is needed as raw material for generating electricity produced by PLTU Tanjung Jati B Jepara. PT. Adhiguna Putera Jepara branch is a loading and unloading company for coal suppliers at PLTU Tanjung Jati B Jepara, PT. Adhiguna Putera Jepara Branch plays an important role in the operation of unloading coal at jetties 1 and 2 of PLTU Tanjung Jati B Jepara. With the development of the era and technology/equipment in current unloading, in the world of shipping it is needed in the world of transportation or transportation, in line with these developments there is still a great need for workers who are skilled in operating loading and unloading equipment properly and can minimize damage to the cargo on board. the ship. In managing the loading and unloading equipment and workforce by PT, Adhiguna Putera Jepara, there are obstacles that cause delays in unloading such as troubleshooting of unloading equipment, cargo plugs on the hooper and miscommunication with the ship. The purpose of writing this paper is to identify and explain about the arrangement of equipment and loading and unloading workers such as what equipment is prepared before unloading, labor regulation procedures, and obstacles and their solutions. The method used in writing this paper uses observation, interviews, and literature. In this case collecting data in the form of data on observation objects, as well as documentation and data related to loading and unloading. The conclusion from this discussion is that loading and unloading equipment and manpower are very important and need to be considered because loading and unloading equipment is the essence of demolition and also the workforce that operates it, without tools and labor, demolition cannot take place.
