Abstract
Bearing in mind that the Unloading and Loading Implementation (PBM) business activities include the activities of unloading and loading ship goods at the port. The loading and unloading activities carried out by the loading and unloading company are service activities engaged in loading and unloading of ship goods at the port which includes stevedoring, cargodoring, and receiving/delivery activities as stated in Law No. PM. 60 of 2014 Article 2 Chapter II. The purpose of this paper is to find out what tools, documents, and obstacles are in the process of loading and unloading of bulk coal by PT. Bira Bumi Persada at Cirebon Harbor. Here the author uses the method of data collection by direct observation and interviews in land practice. The results of observations made at PT. Bira Bumi Persada in this writing is to find out the tools used during loading and unloading activities, the required documents, as well as the obstacles that arise from the implementation of coal bulk loading and unloading activities such as lack of skills (TKBM), damage to loading and unloading equipment. loading, as well as obstacles due to bad weather. In the research that has been carried out the author draws the conclusion that PT. Bira Bumi Persada has carried out coal bulk loading and unloading activities optimally, although there are obstacles/obstacles that occur, they will be minimized as small as possible, in order to create fast and optimal coal bulk activities at the Port of Cirebon.
