Abstract

Increase in digital technology today, port services have increased quite rapidly in service time and service processes. This paper aims to obtain a deeper picture and understanding of the increasing port services provided by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Semarang with a system integrated into the Port Operation Comand Center (POCC). The research method used is descriptive analytic which discusses a number of issues, and summarizes the information contained in the research and presents it in the desired form. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected by observing the object of research and direct interviews with the object of research, while secondary data was obtained from books and other sources. The results of the study concluded that the service procedure was in accordance with the flow set by the company or related agency and the service increased because of the fast service response. The service user procedures used by the Port Operation Comand Center (POCC) (shipping agents submit applications, service users attend online meetings, service users get service assignments, get scout services, delays, moorings, service users make requests to leave the port, receive notes or billing) Suggestions that can be put forward are the need for increased responsibility, service and cooperation between employees in carrying out their duties, and the need for improving the quality of human resources. The results of the problems that the authors bring in this paper, the application of the system in an effort to improve services is very efficient and makes it easier for port service users.
