Abstract
International Trade is the economic activities and trade that is done by the inhabitants of a country with a population of other countries on the basis of mutual agreement. Import can be defined as the activities include goods from a country (abroad) to the territory of the customs of other countries. This means involving 2 countries in this can be represented by the interests of 2 the company between the two countries that are different and certainly also the regulation and legislation. Countries that one acted as exporters supplier) and other act as recipient countries (importers). The methods used by the author is qualitative descriptive method, while data collection method used is the method of observation and literature related to the process of import of goods in PT Dinamika Expressindo. From an overview of the process of handling import found obstacles to the import process in PT Dinamika Expressindo, such as a lack of carefulness in Inserting data into the system SIMC, system that less support when the process import activities and an error when it wants to release the Delivery Order. In this case it can be concluded that the lack of perfecting the commissioning during the import process of goods in PT Dinamika Expressindo, suggestions author is that the process of import activities run well, how good if the performance of the staff at the Import in evaluation so also with the system must be upgraded to ease the execution process of import activities in shipping companies.
